When Eric and I first got married, I searched and searched for blogs by pastor’s wives, especially Lutheran pastor’s wives. I wanted to see what their lives were like, how they dealt with things, how they expressed their faith to others, how they raised their kids, how they interacted with people at church, what they did in their spare time, and so on.
But I really didn’t find many.
That was pretty disappointing. But I managed to figure things out on my own. Well, ok. It’s a work in progress. Always.
And as time went on, as the blogisphere as a whole grew, I really began to enjoy various other blogs and bloggers, especially baking blogs and beauty blogs. None of them have been pastor’s wives though, but seeing as how I’m a complex pastor’s wife, my whole entertainment experience doesn’t need to be related to my marital status or my husband’s career.
Still, there’s a void out there that I thought maybe I could start to fill.
Now, I am not a fashionista, nor am I amazingly talented with hair and/or makeup, so I most likely won’t be doing any beauty related posts unless I’m reviewing a product. But I do love to bake, and I have some favorite meal recipes. And I’m happy to share bits and pieces of my home life with the wide world of the interwebs. Hopefully I can help someone else who may be looking for the same things I was.
