And just like that, it’s July already. Life really does have a way of getting in the way, doesn’t it? Even though I’m sure I haven’t had a million readers all saying to themselves, “Where in the world has that Meghan been? I just love her super fun content!”, I feel like I should pop in and give a little update.
So, Where Have I Been?
I started this blog as a way to relieve stress and get some “me time.” Unfortunately, things got crazy this year, and me time went right out the window. A multitude of illnesses and injuries (most of which are on the mend!) and prep for my own surgery (The HysterSisters website has been a huge blessing and great source of info. And I should totally get this magnet!) on top of every day mom/pastor’s wife life have kept me on my toes and exhausted. Which of course means that my beloved blog has taken a bit of a back seat.
And unfortunately, it had to start right after I became an official, full-fledged Amazon Affiliate. But don’t worry, I’ll get right back into showing you some pretty awesome things from Amazon very soon!
In between doctor’s appointments and feeling overall icky, I’ve at least managed to keep busy and productive. I painted our bedroom two beautiful shades of gray (two colors because we have chair rail decorating our room – so one color above and one below), re-read all 7 Harry Potter books, started going through my large stock of Tupperware from my consultant days, and made about 21 freezer meals to help make life easier for Eric while I’m recovering.
But now that things are running more smoothly and the surgery is scheduled and looming, I feel like I’ve got some time to devote to Grace, Laughter, and Coffee once again! My hope is to get some content prepped to have ready to post while I’m recovering and also to use some of that down time to work on even more great stuff for you.
And really, thank God that life is never dull! If things get dull, they can get boring. A little excitement in life is a good thing, right? It keeps you on your toes…
Thank you all for sticking with me! I do love and appreciate you all!
