Have you paid much attention to the random thoughts that come to mind on a given day? Yeah me neither.

Until today.

And so, here are a few of the thought bubbles that have popped into my head on this sunny – and cold – day. You can thank me later.

— I am SO over this winter already. I’m not a winter person anyway, but the temperatures going up and down and the cold and the snow are wearing on me. Bring on spring!

random thoughts about how I wish it were spring
Unfortunately, this is how our springs look around here these days…

— There need to be more hours in a day (said every mom ever).

— Why are doctor’s office staffs so hit and miss? Some of them are outstanding, and some of them couldn’t find their rear ends with both hands. Come on people, if you’re dealing with patients, some of whom have critical issues, get your acts together! (I’m fine, by the way. It isn’t my situation I’m talking about. Although I’ve seen my share of incompetence…)

— I really need to set up a better organizational system so that I can get more things done more efficiently.

— If only babies followed those efficient organizational schedules…

— Where are the house cleaning fairies hiding these days? They’re getting awfully lazy…

— So I guess that’s why I’m thankful for this new purchase. 1 year olds are messy! We knew we wanted a Dustbuster cordless vacuum and finally decided on exactly would work this week. It has done an awesome job so far! Best purchase we’ve made in a while.

— Thank you Gerber for your various puffs snacks. Judah LOVES puffs! He scarfs them down like nobody’s business, especially now that he’s really doing well feeding himself. We keep them on Amazon Subscribe and Save so we don’t run out and also so we get a discount on them. I just subscribed for these Gerber Puffs in the smaller containers. Which are lots of fun for little hands to carry all around the house. The cans for the Gerber Lil’ Crunchies sound like drums when you beat on them (ask me how I know…)

Awwww, my little puff monster

— I’ve been so busy with the blog and home stuff lately that I haven’t had much time for reading. And I really miss it. Reading has become a form of self-care for me in the past year, and I can feel it when I haven’t taken the time to read a book.

— Teething sucks. That is all.

— My Usborne Books and More new consultant kit is here! And we only have one of the books in it already. Yay!! I really wanted to sign up with this company so I can make sure Judah has every opportunity to become a good reader and to provide him with new books to use in our library’s reading program. In case you want to check out what Usborne Books and More has to offer, here’s my website for more info.

— I need to decide on a special gift for my email list subscribers so I can start working on it. I appreciate you all so much!

What kind of random thoughts have popped into your mind today? Leave me a comment and let me know! (And if you have an opinion about the subscriber gift, I’m all ears.)
